I always have a few laying around the house, I keep some at work and I take them when I do other outdoor sports like hiking and mountain bike riding. I’ve tried a few over the years, about half of which I didn’t like the taste/texture of at all!

I recently came across this post over at the Supplements Explained site: best tasting protein bars. These guys tested about 20 top protein and nutritional bars on the market, definitely worth a read.

steak.jpgToday I thought I’d post an example of a good 3,500 calorie bodybuilding diet. This dies does take some preparation time. I recommend you bulk cook and freeze/refrigerate most of your meals so your diet is easy to stick to. If your diet is too hard to prepare chances are you won’t be able to stick to it long term.

If you don’t have time to prepare some of the meals you can replace them with meal replacements shakes.

jon6.jpgI’ve always been a big fan of natural bodybuilding. These guys achieve amazing physiques with nothing but hard work, strict dieting and a few basic supplements. Natural bodybuilders have been my inspiration for years, they show what can really be achieved through hard work!

The body shape, tone and overall look of natural bodybuilders is so much better than the IFBB untested professionals. Bodybuilders like Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman are just freaks, that’s it. Over the years they’re taken enough drugs to fill out a medium sized pharmacy.
