Philip Ricardo has one of the best natural physiques I have ever seen! Hopefully we’ll see him back on stage in 2010!

Congratulations Ava Cowan who last weekend won the overall figure at the Natural Fitness Universe, second year running! Check out the video below of the finals, you can see Ava does look the best on the day and really deserved the title. Congrats Ava!

Dave Goodin is a lifetime natural bodybuilder who’s in his 50s, and still shredded to the bone! He’s one of my person heroes and I’ve looked up to him for years. He’s a great example of how you can be a bodybuilder FOR LIFE if you stay natural. Check out the vid:

One of the biggest events in the natural bodybuilding and fitness calendar is coming up soon! It’s the Fitness America weekend in Vegas! I missed out on last years due to not getting time off work, but it’s looking like I’m going this year.

This event is the pinnacle of natural bodybuilding, natural fitness and figure, bikini modeling. An it’s held where everything big is held, in Vegas! If you’re keen to check out some of the best natural athletes in the world you should really try to get down there. Not only do you have the competitions, but shows, demos, parties and more!

Check out the Fitness America website for more details! Also, here’s the flyer:

I’ve been watching Jim Cordova for a while now, especially considering the world natural bodybuilding championships are coming up soon. This guy is a true genetic freak! 100% natural lifetime drug-free athlete! Yet he has physiques matching IFBB pros. Amazing.

Keep an eye on him, I believe he still hasn’t reached his peak.

Today I thought I’d post up a few of the muscle building resources that I use from around the web! So here’s the list:

  •  Workout Routines over at Muscle&Strength. Loads of sites have routines, but the ones on this site are well thought out and tailored for different goals, experience etc.
  • For calorie tracking I use FitDay (not always the most accurate, but their tools are easy to use). I’d definitely check them out if you’re losing weight especially.
  • I read the Natural Bodybuilding Forum at Muscle&Strength every day. A bunch of really good guys there with a no BS attitude to getting bigger and fitter.
  • 4 Supplement Reviews has decent reviews of different bodybuilding supplements which I read via RSS. They have also launched a new section where users can post their reviews as comments which is usually pretty interesting.
  • Dave Draper’s blog - there’s usually something interesting to read here. Again, I use RSS to keep up with posts easily.
  • Joe DiAngelo is a personal trainer from NYC who gets awesome results with his clients. His blog is always a good read.

That’s about it. If you want to add any sites to this list leave them in  the comments!

jon6.jpgI’ve always been a big fan of natural bodybuilding. These guys achieve amazing physiques with nothing but hard work, strict dieting and a few basic supplements. Natural bodybuilders have been my inspiration for years, they show what can really be achieved through hard work!

The body shape, tone and overall look of natural bodybuilders is so much better than the IFBB untested professionals. Bodybuilders like Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman are just freaks, that’s it. Over the years they’re taken enough drugs to fill out a medium sized pharmacy.
